Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani made this known through a post on his official social media handle. The heightened security efforts, according to the Governor, encompassed not only the vicinity of the airport but also strategic areas along Mando Road.
During consultations with state security operatives, Major-General JO Ochai, the Commandant of the Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA), and his team visited the office of Kaduna State Executive Governor, Uba Sani, at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Kaduna.
Major-General Ochai reiterated the military’s unwavering commitment to collaborating with other security agencies to guarantee the safety and security of the airport and its surrounding areas.
Expressing gratitude for the diligent efforts of the Nigerian Military in safeguarding the Kaduna-Abuja highway and ensuring the safety of passengers, Governor Uba Sani took the opportunity to commend their tireless dedication to upholding security across the region.
