A political group, under the auspices of All Registered APC North-South Progressives (ARANS-P) has declared their support for the re-election bids of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 general elections.
Ibrahim Gwarzo, Patron and North West Co-ordinator of ARANS-P, said the group’s decision was based on Tinubu administration’s visible achievements, especially in the economy and governance.
“Our target is to mobilise three million votes to support Mr President in the 2027 presidential election.
“All the structures are being put in place. We are going to be in all the 119, 974 polling centres.
“It is a grassroots based mobilisation. The structures are there in states, local governments, wards.
“We are into it and we are kicking off the campaign in the 36 states of the federation,” he said.
The National Chairman of the group, Chief Chibunna Ubawuike, called on Nigerians, the party men and women to rally round and support President Tinubu ‘s re-election.
According to him, the way forward for Nigeria is: consolidation of the Renewed Hope Agenda for Progress, development and prosperity.
Ubawuike enumerated some of the achievements of the present government in areas of housing, health, education, agriculture, infrastructure, economy, social investment civil service, foreign policy and diplomacy, among others.
“Nigeria’s progress today is not accidental; it is the product of deliberate policy choices, tough decisions and visionary leadership.
“The APC government is rebuilding the foundation of a prosperous, secure and equitable Nigeria.
“As we move toward 2027, let us unite behind the Renewed Hope Agenda, for the journey of transformation has only just begun,” he said.
Mrs Susan Lokpobiri, the National Woman Leader of ARANS-P and wife of the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Oil, said the group was formed to tell Nigerians the achievements of the government.
