75 Nigerians departed from Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport for Saudi Arabia today for  Umrah (lesser Hajj).
Head of the Abuja outreach of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON),Umar M Kalgo confirmed the departure.
The figure of the first batch was made up of 50  from Eminista Travels and tours and 25 from Earth Travels.
This development signifies the opening of Saudi airways for Nigerians after Umrah was put of hold in February 2020 as a result of the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
