Ogun intending pilgrims to take Covid-19 vaccination on Saturday, Sunday

The  Ogun  State Government has approved COVID-19 vaccination for intending pilgrims from the State.

The Executive Secretary of Ogun State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Salau Dauda Babatunde stated this in a statement on Wednesday.

“Ogun State Government has approved the administration of COVID-19 Vaccine for intending Pilgrims in accordance with the directive of National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON ) as a requirement for 2021 Hajj,” the statement read in part.

Babatunde said the vaccination will take place on Saturday, 10th and Sunday, 11th April, 2021  and asked intending pilgrims to visit the Board’s Secretariat Complex, Block B, Oke-Mosa, Abeokuta with their payment receipts for the purpose of identification and clearance for the vaccination.

He however said those who have been vaccinated at their local government areas would only be required to bring their Vaccination Card for necessary documentation.
