Odumakin’s death too heavy to bear – Chief Adebanjo

Afenifere leader, Chief Ayo Adebanjo has described the death of Yinka Odumakin as “too heavy to bear.”
 Odumakin, spokesman of Afenifere died at the Covid Isolation Centre of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital in the early hours of Saturday and Pa Adebanjo in a tweet said  “This is too heavy to bear.”
Yinka Odumakin, journalist and activist played a major role in the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO)  that fought the regime of late military head of state, General Sani Abacha, after the annulment of the June 12, 1993 election.
He was married to a fellow activist, Dr Joe Odumakin.
