Niger Republic receives second tranche of assistance from Pakistan for flood affected people

A Second Pakistan Air Force C-130 aircraft touched down in Niamey yesterday to deliver the gift of 2nd tranche of assistance for flood affected people of Niger.
 The gift was committed  by Shah Mehmood Qureshi the Foreign Minister of Pakistan while visiting Niger for the OIC CFM in end November 2020.
Welcoming the aircraft at Niamey, Nigerien caretaker Foreign Minister Mr. Marou Adamou led numerous dignitaries to welcome the aircraft. Adamou  reflected over historical bonds of trust and amity between Pakistan-Niger.
Ahmed Ali Sirohey, Ambassador of Pakistan joined  the Foreign Minister of Niger and Mr. Laouan Magagi, Minister for Humanitarian Action & Disaster Management, Mr. Sadou Seydou, Ministèr of Commerce and Transport, Principal Secretary the Prime Ministèr as well as the Mayor of Niamey to the airport.
Talking to media, Foreign Minister thanked people and government of Pakistan for their traditional support for Niger. The Ambassdor observed that soon Pakistan Navy Ship would depart from Karachi with 1000 tons rice, medical and school supplies for Niger.
