Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated the Emir of Ilesha, Kwara State, Prof. Halidu Abubakar, calling the monarch a patriot, great scholar and a distinguished traditional ruler, who has brought experience and network to bear in the development of his community.
In a statement on Friday, the Governor commended the first class monarch for his commitment to peaceful coexistence and development of his domain in particular and Kwara State as a whole.
“On behalf of my family, government and people of Kwara State, I send our best wishes to the distinguished professor of economics on this occasion of his birthday. I pray Allah to grant the monarch good health and many more fulfilling years on the throne of his forebears,” the statement said.
