The Management of Katsina United fc has appealed to its teeming supporters to stay away from the premises of Muhammadu Dikko Stadium as they are set to host Kano Pillars on MD 21 of the ongoing NPFL season.
The call became imperative following a letter from League Management Company issued to the FA chairmen’s of both Katsina and Kano and dated on 21/05/2021.
It could be recalled that matches between the two teams have generated so much acrimony in the recent past which necessitated the intervention of the LMC.
Therefore the following measures are to be adopted for the game:
1- No fans are to be allowed in to the stadium Arena
2- Both Katsina united and Kano Pillars will be allowed to have 20 players, 7 technical officials, 5 club directors and 3 FA officials from Katsina United only.
3- Special accreditation will be provided by the LMC for all attendees.
4- All security and medical officials will be accredited.
5- Vehicle passes will be provided for conveyance of the delegations.
6- No Vehicles or Fans will be allowed into the main stadium gates.
7- A special LMC delegate will attend the match to assist with the compliance and organization of the match.
In the same vein, Kano Pillars has been strongly advised to inform their fans not to travel to katsina for the match.
