ICICE DG writes Oloyede, commiserates with NSCIA on the death of Mallam Yusuf Nwoha

The International Centre for Islamic Culture and Education, ICICE, the Custodian of AL-NOOR Mosque, Wuse II, Abuja, has sent a condolence letter to the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) on the death of its Director of Administration, Mallam Yusuf Nwoha, in a road accident on Wednesday.

Signed by Dr Kabir Kabo Usman, PhD.,
Director General of ICICE and addressed to Professor Ishaq Oloyede, Secretary General of the NSCIA, the statement was released to press on Thursday by Alhaji Abdulkadir Ahmed Ibrahim, the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Dr Kabir Kabo Usman.

Dear Brother,

ICICE CONDOLENCE ON THE DEATH OF NSCIA DIRECTOR OF ADMINISTRATION:

Inna Lillahi wa inna Ilayhi raji’un. It is with total submission to the Almighty Allah (SWT) that we sorrowfully received the sad news of the death of the Director of Administration of Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), Malam Yusuf Chinedozi Nwoha.

He was reported to have died in a road (motor) accident at Okene, Kogi State, on Wednesday 08th of Dhul-Hajj, 1441 AH, on his way to Owerri, Imo State, for the Eidul Adha.

Brother Yusuf died on his way to perform a religious duty – to perform the Eid el Kabir with his kith and kin and also (ostensibly) to spread love, peace, kindness, charity and tolerance as enjoined by Islam.

As Muslims we take solace that every soul shall die and we confidently pray that Brother Yusuf Chinedozi Nwoha died as a Martyr.

His contributions in the propagation of Islam and the successes achieved by the NSCIA can only be rewarded by Allah (SWT).

I wish to on behalf of the Board of Trustees, Directors, Management and Staff of the International Centre for Islamic Culture and Education, ICICE, the Custodian of AL-NOOR Mosque, Wuse II, Abuja, send our Condolence to the President General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, His Eminence the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar, the Families of Late Brother Yusuf Chinedozi Nwoha, and the entire Muslim Ummah, on the death of this faithful who devoted most of his life times serving Islam.
