ICICE Abuja mourns the death of Emir of Zazzau

The International Centre for Islamic Culture and Education, ICICE, (the Custodian of AL-NOOR MOSQUE) Wuse II, Abuja, has sent a condolence message on the death (yesterday Sunday 20th September, 2020) of the Emir of Zazzau, Alhaji Dr Shehu Idris.
A Press Statement issued today by Abdulkadir Ahmed Ibrahim, the Special Assistant on Media and Publicity to Dr Kabir Kabo Usman the Director General of the Centre, said the Board of Trustees, Management and Staff of the ICICE through the Director General expressed their heartfelt condolence to President Muhammadu Buhari; the Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasiru El-Rufa’I; the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar; family of the late Emir, the Emirate and entire people of Zazzau over the death of the revered  monarch and respected statesman.
It described the late Emir as a role model for tolerance, peace, hospitality and unity.
 Dr Kabir Kabo Usman prayed to Almighty Allah to grant his soul an eternal rest in peace and blessings and his family, the people of Zazzau emirate and the entire Muslim Ummah the fortitude to bear the loss.
