How Akeredolu won Ondo APC guber ticket to run for second term

Governor Rotimi Akeredolu (SAN) early Tuesday morning emerged APC flag bearer for Ondo State 2020 Governorship election slated for October 10.

He won the primary election which took place at International Cultural and Events Centre (The Dome), Akure.

The exercise was chaired by Governor Yahya Bello of Kogi State with over 3000 delegates from across the 203 wards of Ondo state.

He had a landslide victory in the direct primary polling 88% of delegates vote (2,458) with his closal rival, Chief Olusola Oke managing only 9.4% (262 votes).
