Akwa Ibom state governor, (Udom) Emmanuel appears to have chosen his most important project. And that’s choosing his successor in office. He has left no discerning mind wondering in possibly every public speech in recent times.

INEC appears soon to lose its job in Akwa Ibom state. That means huge financial savings for the election body. It also means huge time saving for the 2m voters in Akwa Ibom state.

Some aspirants have already been disqualified by Emmanuel’s electoral God. There’s no appeal tribunal. No Appeal or Supreme Court.

To undertake that project Emmanuel has chosen Fathers of faith into his Successor choosing or selection panel. They are in constant prayers for the revelation to them. They don’t need ballot boxes. They don’t need electoral officers. They don’t need the Police or Army.

Someone should do me a favor.

Which part of the Constitution gives him this power?
