Princess Omotade-Odumosu stated this in a chat with The Shield Online as admirers of the late philanthropist and Muslim leader look forward to the 7th year anniversary of the death of Arisekola, the first Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, late Aare of Ibadanland and former Vice-President – General of the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA).

Recalling the demise of Arisekola in London on June 18, 2017, Princess Omotade-Odumosu said she was in Spain on a business trip but later joined the late Aare Musulumi in his London home.

“He died in the afternoon around 1pm. By his side were four of his sons, including Isa Arisekola Alao,” the business magnate recollected.

“I believe he is not dead, but just sleeping. Alhaji was a great man. His London home was home to many Nigerians in the U.K, just as his Ibadan home was. Although he was not a politician, he was a grassroot man in the true sense of the world. Both the poor and the rich clustered around him for one assistance or the other. I never saw him turned back anyone that approached him for assistance. I remember when Dr Olusegun Mimiko wanted to be governor of Ondo State.  I took him to Aare and he assisted him,” Princess Omotade-Odumosu stated, praying for the repose of the soul of the deceased.
