Akasa lauds DSP Omo-Agege over provision of solar street lights

 The Unuevworo (traditional mouth piece) of Etche R’ Alegbo (traditional administrative unit) in Uvwie Kingdom, Chief Hope Akasa has lauded the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo- Agege over the provision of 47 solar street lights in Christ Street in Alaka Quarter, Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area.
The Uvwie chief, who spoke to our correspondent at his Alaka residence on Thursday February 4, 2021, noted that the solar street lights had boosted the security of the area mostly at night.
He however appealed to Senator Omo-Agege to prevail on the contractor handling the project to ensure that the street lights were functional at all time as he noted that the one on the front of his compound was malfunctioning.
Akasa, who also commended Senator Omo-Agege for the provision of electric transformer in Alaka, appealed for energization of the transformer.
He further appealed to Senator Omo-Agege to keep to his promise to rehabilitate the Christ Street Road, which he said was a major link between Effurun-Sapele Road and PTI Road, Effurun.
