Aguluzigbo, Achala, Ogbunka and Owelle Communities Get New Traditional Rulers

Traditional rulers of Aguluzigbo, Achala, Ogbunka and Owelle Communities of Anambra state have been recognized by government of Anambra state.
While Igwe Rufus Iloduba was recognized as the traditional ruler of Aguluzoigbo, Igwe Sunny Nwokedi was recognized as the traditional ruler of Achala, while Igwe Ambassador John-Mark Anyaoha was certificated as the traditional ruler of Ogbunka as well as Igwe Raymond Omoja who was recognized as the traditional ruler of Owelle.
This makes it the fifty seventh certificate issued by Governor Obiano’s administration.
Governor Willie Obiano who performed the constitutional function at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia charged them to uphold peace and progress in their communities.
Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr Primus Odili, Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Town Union Affairs, Chief Greg Obi, Commissioners for Housing, Architect Mike Okonkwo and his Lands counterpart, Mr Bonaventire Enemali, Traditional rulers led by Anambra State and South East Chairman of Tradìtional Rulers Council, Igwe Alred Achebe of Onitsha, Chairman House Committee On Local Government, Chieftaincy and Town Union Affairs, Dr. Pete Ibida, Former member representing Anambra Central, Senator Victor Umeh, Member representing Anaocha Constituency Two at the State Assembly, Hon. Ejike Okechukwu attended the event.
Other participants include the member representing Awka North, Hon John Nwokoye, Special Adviser to the Governor on Local Government, Chieftaincy and Town Union Affairs Barrister Vera-Queen Okonkwo.
